
Badžim returns to Cibona
Cibona confirm the return of Roko Badžim, who will once again wear the Zagreb club’s jersey in the 2026/27 season

Roko Badžim was born on August 18, 1997, in Šibenik. Standing 196 centimeters tall, he plays at shooting guard. He began his senior career in his hometown, establishing himself with Šibenik before moving to Slovenian club Olimpija.
He first joined Cibona in 2019 and played in the Croatian league and ABA League during the 2019/20 season. After leaving Zagreb, he continued his career with Hungarian club Szolnoki, Turkish side Konyaspor, as well as Merkezefendi Basket and Spanish club Monbus Obradoiro. During this time, he gained experience in several strong European leagues, spending the last two seasons in the top tier of Turkish basketball.
In the 2025/26 season, Badžim played 30 league games for Merkezefendi Basket, averaging 11.5 points, 3.1 assists and 2.4 rebounds per game. He was particularly effective from three-point range, shooting 40.1 percent. Badžim has also represented the Croatian senior national team during his career.
He is a versatile perimeter player who can cover both guard positions. He brings reliable outside shooting, the ability to create off the dribble and an additional playmaking option to the team.
Badžim returns to Zagreb as a more mature and experienced player, ready to once again take on responsibility in the Cibona jersey.
