Cibona host Borac Mozzart at Dražen’s Hall tomorrow
Fresh off a fourth straight domestic win, the Wolves return to the ABA League in front of their own fans – supporters, see you on Friday at Dražen’s Hall!
Cibona take the floor on Friday full of confidence. On Wednesday in Kostrena, the Wolves beat Škrljevo 96:89 for their fourth win in four games in the SuperSport Premijer Liga, having previously beaten Galatasaray 96:76 in the Champions League. Badžim and Gnjidić each scored 22 points in Kostrena.
Borac Mozzart arrive in Zagreb on the back of a win in their last game. In Round 3, the team from Čačak beat Igokea m:tel 94:83 in Laktaši, having lost at home to Široki TT Kabeli (81:87) before that. Cibona and Borac have met several times in the ABA League, with the Wolves leading the overall record 6:4.
“Borac is a team built around two very good Americans, both very useful players, Anthony Roy and Spear, along with a group of experienced ABA League players who have plenty of experience on courts like this. A big challenge awaits us. Of course, we always see the game in the context of what comes today and what follows, as part of a run of games we’re in. But looking at it in isolation, against Borac we want to take the floor with far more energy than we showed defensively against Slovan, so that we can pick up our first home win in the ABA League,” said Cibona head coach Ivan Rudež.
“We have a tough game against Borac, who won away at Igokea in the last round. We know it won’t be easy, but we’re playing at home, and I think we’re the favourites against anyone here. We have to come into the game from the very first minute and try to get our first win in the ABA League,” added Antonio Sikirić.
Fans, we invite you to come to Dražen’s Hall in as large numbers as possible and back the Wolves with your voices and your support on their way to a first home win in the ABA League! Your energy is our sixth man – together, we can do more!
Tickets are available on the club’s official website and at the arena box office before the game.
The Round 4 AdmiralBet ABA League game between Cibona and Borac Mozzart will be played on Friday, 16 October 2026, at 18:30 at the Dražen Petrović Basketball Centre.
