Cibona host Slovan at Dražen Petrović Hall tomorrow

After three straight wins in the Premijer League and a statement victory over Galatasaray, the Wolves look for their first home win in the ABA League tomorrow against Slovan Bratislava, the first Slovak club in the competition’s history

Cibona host Slovan Bratislava at Dražen Petrović Hall tomorrow, Monday 12 October, at 19:00 in Round 3 of Group A of the AdmiralBet ABA League. It will be the Wolves’ first home game of the season in the regional competition.

Cibona come into the game in excellent form. After their loss to Cedevita Olimpija in Ljubljana in the ABA League, Ivan Rudež’s side beat Galatasaray in the Champions League (96-76) within a week, then won at Samobor in the Premijer League (73-64) to keep a perfect record in the domestic league (3-0).

“We have another ABA League round ahead of us. A team that’s new to the league and the region is coming from Bratislava. It’s a good challenge for us and a chance to level our record at 1-1 at the start of this year’s ABA League. I’m inviting everyone to come, fill the hall and give us the wind in our sails,” said Cibona head coach Ivan Rudež.

“We have a tough game ahead of us on Monday in the ABA League. Even though we’ve started the Champions League well, as everyone knows, we slipped up in our first ABA League game and we hope to put that right. We’re playing at home, in front of our fans. This time I’d like to invite everyone – I know it’s a Monday, but come, support us and let’s create a great atmosphere,” said Cibona’s Vigo Bart.

Cibona are competing on three fronts in the 2026/27 season – the SuperSport Premijer League, the AdmiralBet ABA League and the Basketball Champions League – and the club invites fans to come to Dražen Petrović Hall in great numbers and back the team from the stands. Tickets are available on the club’s website.
