Cibona ends its journey to the FIBA ​​Europe Cup with a loss to Reggiana

The Italian side got off to the better start, building a significant lead in the opening ten minutes. With a 7–0 run followed by a 20–6 advantage, the visitors established control early. Cibona managed to cut the deficit to 14–24 by the end of the first quarter, and by halftime the score was reduced to 31–37.

The absence of the season’s MVP, Žan Mark Šiško, made things even more difficult for Ivan Rudež’s team. The responsibility of organizing the offense fell on captain Krešimir Radovčić, while on the other side American guard Jaylen Barford was in excellent form, scoring 11 points already in the first quarter.

In the second half, Kamaka Hepa brought energy and valuable points. His two three-pointers and strong defensive contribution brought Cibona back into the game, with the Wolves closing the gap to just 48–51 late in the third quarter, backed by loud support from the stands.

In the final ten minutes, the home team had a chance to fully get back into contention. With five minutes remaining, after a free throw by Luka Skorić, the score stood at 62–63 and it seemed the momentum was shifting toward Cibona. However, Reggiana responded with a 10–0 run, led by Troy Caupain and Lorenzo Uglietti, restoring a double-digit lead and calmly seeing out the game.

Kamaka Hepa led Cibona with 15 points and 12 rebounds, while Krešimir Radovčić added 12 points and seven assists. For the Italian side, the top scorers were Jaylen Barford with 16 points and Troy Caupain with 15 points and nine assists.

Despite a strong start to the season with three opening wins, Cibona finished the competition with three consecutive losses and failed to qualify for the Top 16.
