Cibona begin preparations for the new season

The players began preparations wearing the gear of the club’s new technical partner, marking the first time the partnership between Cibona and one of the world’s most recognizable sports brands, Adidas, has come to life on the court.

During the opening stage of preparations, the focus will be on physical conditioning, team chemistry and gradually integrating the new players into the team’s system. In the new season, Cibona will compete in the SuperSport Premier League, AdmiralBet ABA League and Basketball Champions League. During the second week of preparations, the team will travel to Lošinj, where they will hold a training camp. The stay in Lošinj will be used for a more intensive training process, tactical preparation and further team building ahead of the start of the season.

“After a long and busy summer, we have started preparations for the new season. We have been through a very demanding period during which we worked intensively on building the team. Looking at what we have accomplished, I can say that I am satisfied. We will use the first week for medical examinations, assessing the players’ physical condition and completing the roster. Next week, we will travel to Lošinj, where we will continue our preparations. We are looking forward to our first preseason games and then to the start of official competitions in the Basketball Champions League, ABA League and Croatian championship”, said Cibona sports director Marin Rozić.

As part of the preseason, Cibona will play several friendly games, with the exact schedule, opponents, venues and tip-off times to be announced at a later date.

Point guards: Ricky McGill, Lovro Gnjidić, Bruno Bubalo and Ante Garac.

Guards: Roko Badžim, Khalif Battle, Jan Palokaj, Vigo Bart and Zdravko Perić.

Forwards: Antonio Sikirić, Renato Serdarušić and Borna Katanović.

Power forwards and centers: Kamaka Hepa, Domagoj Vuković, Marjan Čakarun, Vincent Trevon Mitchell and Lovro Mazalin.
