FIBA Europe Cup: Dijon crushes Cibona with three-pointers in final
In the 5th round of Group J of the FIBA Europe Cup, Cibona was defeated away at Dijon 94:85
In a closely contested game, Cibona stayed within reach throughout and held on until 2:16 remaining, when the scoreboard showed 83–82 for the home team. David Houston then hit three consecutive three-pointers in the next three possessions, effectively deciding the winner.
In the final outcome of this group, head-to-head point differential could also be decisive, so it’s worth noting that Cibona won by three points in Zagreb (76–73).
For the Zagreb side, Kamaka Hepa stood out with 23 points, while Justin Roberson added 21.
