Preview of Round 4 of the Premijer Liga: Cibona travel to Kostrena to face Škrljevo
Wolves travel to Škrljevo tomorrow, Wednesday 14 October, for Round 4 of the SuperSport Premijer Liga. The game is scheduled for 19:30 at Sportska dvorana Kostrena.
In the last round, Škrljevo beat Alkar 88:73 in Sinj. Coach Petar Maleš’s side trailed by nine points in the second quarter, then went on an 11:2 run to take the lead. They decided the game in the second half, hitting 15 three-pointers.
Cibona are unbeaten in the league so far. The Wolves beat Alkar in Sinj (84:78), Zabok in their first home game of the season (100:84) and Samobor on the road (73:64), so they head to Kostrena with three wins from three games. Their league form has come alongside a win over Galatasaray (96:76) in the Champions League. In the ABA League, however, the team lost its first two games, to Cedevita Olimpija (76:89) and, on Monday at Dražen’s Hall, to Slovan (82:90).
“Škrljevo are a serious opponent, and they showed in Sinj that they have both quality and composure in the closing minutes. Our goal is to live up to the role of favourites,” said Cibona head coach Ivan Rudež.
“We have a tough game ahead against Škrljevo, who have started the season well. It’s up to us to prepare as well as we can and live up to the favourites’ role,” said Bruno Bubalo.
The Round 4 SuperSport Premijer Liga game between Škrljevo and Cibona will be played on Wednesday, 14 October 2026, at 19:30 at Sportska dvorana Kostrena.
