Against Kvarner for a win, which brings official confirmation of second place ahead of the playoffs
The regular season of the SuperSport Premier League has come to an end, with the final, 33rd round, being played this weekend. Before the playoffs, Cibona is fighting for second place with Split, and the clash against Kvarner is of great importance because the celebration brings home field advantage not only in the quarterfinals but also in the semifinals

KK Cibona have 24 wins and 8 losses, along with 56 points, the same record as KK Split. However, it is worth noting that Cibona hold the better head-to-head record against the Split side. On the other hand, the team from Rijeka, with a 12–20 record and 44 points, are fighting for a playoff spot and can finish no lower than eighth.
In the first two meetings between the sides this season, each team recorded one victory. First, on December 6 last year, KK Kvarner won in Zagreb 82–80, while Cibona responded on February 13 this year with a convincing 84–61 victory.
“We invite the fans to support us in as large numbers as possible ahead of the playoffs. Kvarner are the only team this year to have beaten all three teams at the top of the standings, which says enough about their quality. We need to be at a high level defensively, and our goal is to secure second place”, said Cibona head coach Ivan Rudež in the build-up to the game.
The match will be played tomorrow at Dražen Petrović Basketball Hall starting at 7 P.M. Live coverage will be available on HKS TV.
