Against Šibenik for a win and mathematical confirmation of at least third place ahead of the playoffs
After the hard-fought victory against Zabok and the continuation of the positive series of results (fifth celebration in a row), Cibona has the opportunity to mathematically confirm remaining among the top three in the SuperSport Premier League standings. In the 29th round, Šibenka comes to her

Cibona is still in second place with a 20–8 record and 48 points, although they are closely followed by Split, who have a 21–6 record and the same number of points. However, the difference is that Cibona have played one game more, while Split have played one less and still need to make up a postponed clash with Dinamo. Šibenik are at the bottom with a 6–22 record (34 points), and in their last outing they narrowly lost to Dubrava in their home arena 95–94 after overtime.
The last meeting between these two teams was played at the beginning of this year, on January 3. Cibona won 79–65, and before that, on October 10 last year, the game also went Cibona’s way (103–80).
“Šibenik are fighting to stay in the league, so we need to be cautious. Although both previous games were convincing wins for us, this one is specific because they now have a different roster, with new players and a new coach. As always, Cibona are going for the win. We invite all fans to come to the game at Sutinska Vrela”, announced Cibona head coach Ivan Rudež.
The game will be played tomorrow at Sutinska Vrela starting at 8 PM, with a live broadcast on HKS TV.
