Cibona's first defeat in the FIBA Europe Cup: Bashkimi won with +20
Cibona basketball players suffered their first defeat in group J of the FIBA Europe Cup, losing to Bashkimi 89:69 (19:7, 18:18, 28:19, 24:25) on the road in Prizren
The home team already had a double-digit lead after the first quarter (19–7), and midway through the third period they effectively decided the game with a run that took them from 47–35 to an unreachable 60–38. Cibona was unable to cut the deficit to under 20 points by the end.
Matej Rudan was the top performer for Cibona with 18 points, while Žan Mark Šiško added 13 points along with eight assists and six rebounds. For the home team, Jeremiah Bailey recorded a double-double (16 points, 11 rebounds), while Isaiah Cousins and Kyan Anderson each contributed 14 points.
