SuperSport Premier League: Cibona beats Šibenka at Baldekin

The game started poorly for Šibenka. A series of rushed offensive decisions and two made three-pointers by Cibona gave the visitors an early 1:8 lead after just over two minutes of play. Although the home side soon raised the level of their defense, increased their aggressiveness, and allowed only seven points over the next seven minutes, their offensive inefficiency remained. The opening quarter ended with Šibenka scoring just 12 points, but the result still kept the hosts within reach.

At the beginning of the second quarter, Šibenka twice cut the deficit to just three points, but another surge from the visitors followed. Midway through the quarter, the gap grew to 11 points and by halftime had reached a commanding 26:41.

The second half briefly brought hope. Two consecutive three-pointers by Mikšić and another by Jelić reduced the deficit to 37:45. However, the visitors responded quickly and restored their advantage to 15 points almost immediately.

At the start of the final quarter, the visitors hit three straight three-pointers to extend the lead to +25 and comfortably see out the game to the end.
