Gnjidić returns to Cibona
Cibona confirm the return of Gnjidić, who will once again wear the Zagreb club’s jersey in the 2026/27 season
Lovro Gnjidić was born on April 18, 2001, in Zagreb. Standing 197 centimeters tall, he plays the point guard position. After taking his first basketball steps at Dubrava, he continued his development in Cibona’s youth system before establishing himself in the club’s senior team. As a member of Cibona’s junior team, he won the ABA League championship in 2019, while with the senior team he won the Croatian championship and the Krešimir Ćosić Cup in 2022.
After leaving Zagreb, he played for Cedevita Olimpija, Split, Mega and Spanish club Zunder Palencia. During that period, he gained experience competing in regional and European competitions and represented Croatia at EuroBasket 2022.
Last season, he played for Dubrava, making 35 appearances in the Croatian league. He averaged 13.3 points, 4.2 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 1.2 steals per game.
Gnjidić returns to Cibona as a more experienced and mature player, ready to take on an important role within the team.
