Wolves in the semifinals of the domestic championship

Cibona’s head coach Josip Sesar started the game with the lineup of Domagoj Vuković, Toni Ročak, Krešimir Radovčić, Ivan Perasović, and Ivan Majcunić. On the other side, Ante Nazor, who led Kvarner 2010, sent the following players onto the court: Petar Ogrizović, Paolo Marinelli, Marjan Čakarun, Patrik Jambrović, and Leon Šantelj.

The first quarter was evenly matched, but by the end of the third, Cibona had built a significant lead thanks to a run of three-pointers and strong defense. Offensively, Skorić, Ročak, and Smajlagić stood out, while defensive rebounding and quick transitions maintained a high level throughout the game. Kvarner tried to stay in contention, but numerous missed shots and turnovers led to a growing deficit. In the final quarter, the Zagreb side further increased their lead with attractive plays and strong team basketball. It was a convincing and mature performance by Cibona, who outplayed their opponents in all aspects of the game and advanced to the semifinals of the FAVBET Premijer League, where they will face Zadar on May 23 (with the second game scheduled four days later).

For Cibona, the most impressive performances came from Perasović, who recorded a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds, as well as Domagoj Vuković and Luka Skorić, who each scored 13 points. Ročak added 13 points along with 8 rebounds and a block, while Radovčić and Aranitović orchestrated the offense with 6 assists each. For Kvarner, Ogrizović was the most efficient, finishing with 15 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists. Ivan Miličević contributed 11 points and a block, while Šantelj delivered a solid performance with 9 points and one block. Marinelli and Đugum added 7 points apiece.
