
Zadar celebrated at Dražen's home and reached the FAVBET Premier League final
In the second semi-final match of the FAVBET Premier League, Cibona hosted Zadar in Dražen's home, which won 80:70 and qualified for the final

Cibona’s head coach Josip Sesar started the game with the lineup of Domagoj Vuković, Toni Ročak, Krešimir Radovčić, Ivan Perasović, and Ivan Majcunić. On the other side, Zadar’s coach Danijel Jusup sent the following players onto the court: Vladimir Mihailović, Tyler John Wahl, Karlo Žganec, Marko Ramljak, and Dominic Gilbert.
The first quarter was evenly matched (17–17). In the second quarter, Zadar took control and went into halftime with a five-point lead (33–38).
The third quarter proved to be decisive. Cibona entered it unfocused, making a series of technical and tactical mistakes, which Zadar capitalized on to extend the lead to +10. Although Cibona’s captain Radovčić finally scored after more than four minutes of play, Zadar maintained its advantage (48–58). In the final quarter, Cibona tried to close the gap, but Zadar remained composed, controlled the tempo, and ultimately secured a deserved win by ten points. The game ended with a score of 70–80.
For Cibona, the standout player was Ivan Perasović, who scored 10 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. Vigo Bart added 9 points along with 3 assists. Sven Smajlagić also had a notable performance with 8 points, 7 rebounds, and one block. For Zadar, the most prominent player was Lovro Mazalin, who recorded a double-double with 21 points and 10 rebounds. Mihailović added 18 points, while Ramljak scored 14 points and had 6 rebounds. Žganec came close to a double-double with 12 points, 9 rebounds, and 3 assists.
Cibona will host Ilirija on Thursday, May 29, at 7 P.M. at Dražen’s Hall in the first qualifying game for staying in the ABA League.
