Cibona welcome Krka under the Tower

Cibona take the floor after their Champions League game against Legia Warszawa, in which they put in a strong performance at the Dražen Dome in front of around 500 spectators, with McGill the Wolves’ top scorer on 18 points. After two rounds, Cibona’s Champions League record stands at 1-1, and a new challenge awaits on home court on Friday. Before that, the Wolves beat Škrljevo 96-89 in Kostrena in the SuperSport Premier League, claiming their fourth win in four games.

Cibona and Krka meet in the same position – both sides are chasing their first win of this ABA League season. The Slovenian side is led by Diante Baldwin, and the two teams know each other well from the ABA League.

Cibona head coach Ivan Rudež spoke about the opponent and tomorrow’s game:

“Krka is a team that, for now, runs through Baldwin, with other players around him who are well schooled and know how to play. I’d say the biggest danger comes from his creativity. The goal is to get the win through tough, smart defense and better ball movement than in the last game.”

Captain Marjan Čakarun added:

“We have another home game ahead of us, against Krka Novo Mesto. As the table shows, we and Krka are the only teams with an 0-3 record so far. I hope we come out as winners, finally get the win, and show ourselves in our true light in front of our home crowd. This time I’d like to invite as many people as possible to come and support us.”

Fans, let’s follow our captain – we invite you to come to the Dražen Dome in great numbers and push the Wolves to victory with your voice and support! Your energy is our sixth man!

Tickets are available on the club’s official website and at the arena box office before the game.

The AdmiralBet ABA League game between Cibona and Krka takes place on Friday, 23 October 2026, at 20:30 at the Dražen Petrović Basketball Centre.
