Borna Kapusta is a Wolf once again

Borna Kapusta stands 182 cm (6 ft) tall and plays point guard. He began his senior career in Križevci before suiting up for Zabok and Gorica. Gorica is where he made his biggest mark before coming to Cibona: he wore the club’s jersey from 2018 to 2022 and led the Croatian league in assists in both 2021 and 2022.

He first joined Cibona in 2022/23 and won the Krešimir Ćosić Cup in his very first season, earning Final Four MVP honours after putting up 27 points and 8 assists in the final. That same season he ranked third in the ABA League in assists, at 6.6 per game. After his year in Zagreb he played for Derby, winning the ABA Supercup and hitting the game-winning basket in the final, and then for Split and Zadar.

Last season he played for Zadar, facing Cibona in the SuperSport Premijer Liga final. In 46 games for Zadar he averaged 7.7 points, 2 rebounds and 4.3 assists. In 2026/27 he had a brief spell at Samobor.

Kapusta is an experienced point guard whose game is built on creating for his teammates – twice the Croatian league’s assists leader, and among the top three assist-makers in the ABA League.
