Cibona travel to Široki Brijeg on Monday, 9 November, where they face Široki TT Kabeli in Round 7 of the AdmiralBet ABA League. Tip-off is at 7:00 PM at the Pecara Hall, and the game will be broadcast on Sport Klub channels.
The Wolves hit the road in good spirits. On Friday, they beat Dinamo 88:75 at Dražen’s Home for their seventh win in seven games in the SuperSport Premijer League. The game was decided in the third quarter, which Cibona won 28:21, with Antonio Sikirić and Roko Badžim leading the team with 14 and 11 points.
Ahead of the game, Cibona head coach Ivan Tomas said:
“We’re certainly in for a very tough game. Široki is, above all, a very experienced team, and they’re hard to play against on their home court. They play very tough and aggressive defense on the perimeter. I think the key is to adapt to that as quickly as possible. If we answer their aggression, I believe we can get a good result.”
Cibona’s Renato Serdarušić added:
“Široki is a team that has returned to the ABA League. They play very aggressively and they’re highly motivated. I expect a full house, which is extra motivation for both them and us. It will certainly be an exciting game. We’ve prepared, and I hope for a positive outcome.”
