Round 2 Preview, SuperSport Premier League: Cibona Host Zabok at the Dražen Petrović Center

Cibona host Zabok tomorrow, Wednesday, September 30, at the Dražen Petrović Center, tipping off at 7:00 PM in a Round 2 matchup of the SuperSport Premier League. It's the Wolves' first home game of the season, after opening the campaign with a road win.

Ivan Rudež's side kicked off the season in style in Sinj, beating Alkar 84-78 in Round 1. Cibona carry a 1-0 record into their first home outing of the year, looking to keep that momentum going in front of their own crowd. Zabok, on the other hand, arrive in Zagreb off a season-opening loss to Dinamo, falling 78-80 in a game they led for long stretches. Despite the defeat, Zabok showed they're a well-organized, hard-nosed team with a good mix of youth and experience — Babić, Kraljević, Ogrizović, Svoboda, Perkušić and Torbarina all stood out in the opener.

"We've got our season opener at home coming up. Zabok have a good blend of youth and experience, plus some sharp, penetrating guards we'll need to keep in check. I'm calling on our fans to open their season too — warm up those voices, because we're going to need the noise from the stands this year," Cibona head coach Ivan Rudež said ahead of the game.
